2024 May-August Competitive Swim Programs

How to Register

We are a non-profit USA Swimming affilliated team located in Sedona, AZ, Camp Verde and the Verde Valley. Our competitive teams serve committed, passionate swimmers ranging from Age Group through Elite swimmers. We train hard, we have fun and we swim fast. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Active USA Swimming membership (if not already a member, you will be directed to a registration link during registration. USA Swimming membership fee is paid directly to USA Swimming. Reduced membership fee is available for those who receive government financial aid such as school lunch, etc.
  • Pay RPC Seasonal Registration Fee. This registration is for the months of May through August 2024. You will need to re-register at that time for the next season (Short Course/Autumn). 
  • Pay Monthly Club Dues. A 10% late fee is assessed after the 10th of each month.
  • Download WhatsApp - This is how we communicate any changes to practice schedules, meet deadlines or other important information.
  • Be a returning swimmer OR schedule a swim placement test with Coach Jodi. Text 928-713-4824 (best way to reach).
  • Get necessary equipment for practice. Each child should have a pair of swim fins, goggles, swim cap (if hair goes over eyes), suit, and unbreakable water bottle brought to practice in mesh bag. 
  • Arrive to each practice early enough so that your swimmer can be on deck ready to get in at the starting time. Coaches arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. 
  • TRAINING TIMES AS OF MAY 27
    • NOVICE: TU THU SAT 8 TO 9 AM
    • MIDDLE SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT: TU THU SAT 8 TO 9 AM
    • AGE GROUP: M W F 6:30 TO 8 PM, TU TH SAT 7 TO 9 AM
    • ELITE: T W TH F 5:30 AM-7 AM, M W 6:30 TO 8 PM, FRI - FLAGSTAFF 5:30

  • New accounts will be sent an email confirmation message with instructions to set up a password.
  • At least one parent/guardian is required to volunteer.
  • Previously registered parents/guardians cannot be edited during registration. Please contact your team's admin to request edits.

Monthly Club Dues

Please select how you would like to be invoiced: Monthly or by Season. Monthly invoices are distributed on the 1st of each month and due before the 10th. By Season dues are invoiced as a 4-month lump sum, are non refundable and benefit from a 5% discount. *

Liability and Waiver

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in Race Pace Club AZ sports program, related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that: 1) The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, 2) I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, 3) I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and, 4) I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Race Pace Club AZ their directors, officers, officials, agents, team doctors and medical practitioners, volunteers and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.

Photography and Video

Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace Club) and Sailfish Sports Project may wish to take photographs (individual and in groups) of swimmers under the age of 18 that may include your child during their participation in the club. All photos will be taken and published in line with club policy and could be used on the team website, social media, in newspaper articles or in club notifications. The club requires parental consent to take and use photographs or video as well to be in compliance with USA Swimming SafeSport rules.

Rules, Regulations and Code of Conduct

The Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace Club) adheres to the USA Swimming Rules and Regulations, including the USA Swimming Code of Conduct. In addition, Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace Club) has a Parent Code of Conduct as well as a Swimmer Code of Conduct  that must be adhered to at all times. Please indicate that you have read and understand these guidelines.

COVID Waiver

I have read and will comply with all provisions set forth in the Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace Club) Health & Safety Protocols and COVID Waiver. I understand that violation of these health and safety guidelines will result in dismissal from practice with no refund.

Race Pace Club AZ Service Points Policy

 Your role as a volunteer is essential to the success of our team.  Race Pace Club AZ requires a minimum amount of service points per family each season based on the training level of your most advanced athlete. You and your family may choose to serve and earn additional points, but unfulfilled service points will be billed at the end of each season at the rate of $30 per unserved point.  To avoid being billed, it's crucial to read the and understand the Race Pace Club AZ Service Points Policy and how it relates to your family. With a positive attitude and a willingness to lend a hand, you will also have a great impact on your swimmer’s athletic environment and love of swimming.
